The compass and the sterling silver chain are long-lasting gold-plated in so-called vermeil quality, which contains significantly more gold and is 'thicker' than the usual gold plating even in higher jewelry price ranges. The compass core is made of stainless steel.
The compass pendant has a diameter of app. 0.5" (12mm)
The necklace is 16" plus 2" extension chain (40cm plus 5 cm). Due to the adjustable ending, this necklace also works great for layering.
