This pendant necklace is small - but definetively eye-catching. The chickadee bird impresses with its richness of detail. It is worked in layers and partially oxidized- from grey shades to black. The highlights are certainly the beige chest and the white face, which are made of enamel.
Not only are these birds super cute, chickadees also have many symbolic meanings: They represent, amongst others, positivity, happiness and good luck. Because of their cheerful nature, they belong to my favorite birds and always remind me to enjoy the "little" things in life. So consequently I put much effort in all the details I described above.
Necklace length is 16" + 2" (40cm + 5cm) extension chain, so it is adjustable.
