I always loved and admired this kind of moon face cabochons.
In former times, they were carved out of ivory which is, thank goodness!, forbidden nowadays.
Yet the ones you can get nowadays are still made from animal bones.
With this pendant necklace, you get the "animal friendly" alternative because, believe it or not, the moon face is made out of eco-friendly resin.
So the "stone" is completely handmade - from mold making to polishing.
This is why every little man in the moon will look slightly different:)
It is set in a stainless steel setting and suspended from a 925 sterling silver necklace. Pendant and necklace are real gold plated in a so called "vermeil" quality, so a thick and durable, non-tarnishing plating.

The pendant is approximately 0,5" (14 mm)
The necklace is 16" (40cm) PLUS 2" (5cm) extension chain for individual adjustment.
Due to the adjustable ending, this necklace also works great for layering.
